Machine Control Software Engineer

We are currently seeking a Machine Control Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will apply a diverse set of interests and skills to help shape the future of our industry. You will play a critical role in the design, coding, test development, deployment and troubleshooting of our current state-of-the-art machines, as well as engage in the development of next generation products. The ability to create and debug machine control software, as well as integrate third-party automation platforms, is of particular importance. This talented individual will be a key part of a small and passionate Engineering unit comprised of likeminded individuals. Surface Grinder

The Surface Grinder will have the ability to set-up, and operate surface grinding machines to produce finished components to extremely close tolerances.
Must have prior grinding / lapping experience and be able to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.

Work will consist mostly of grinding and lapping dovetail slides.

Position Responsibilities:

• With minimum instruction, set-up, and operate various grinding machines to produce high precision components to exacting specifications.
• Complete necessary paperwork as required to record time, volume of work, etc. • Must assist and/or instruct other machinists.
• Regularly interface with product engineering/drafting and manufacturing engineering.
• May perform special projects with minimum direction using prints, verbal instructions or hand sketches.
• Properly maintain equipment to ensure efficient operation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, reach with both hands and bend as necessary, and be capable of lifting up to 40 lbs on a regular basis.

Field Service Engineer

In this highly visible role, the Field Service Engineer will serve as a liaison between the customer and the company on technical service issues with responsibilities to include: machine buy-off, installation and training, troubleshooting of mechanical and electronic equipment both on-site and remotely, and associated telephone support. Many of these duties will be conducted in the field at the customer’s location. This position will also work with Engineering to design, document, and implement aftermarket machine retrofits in the field.

The Electrical Assembler will perform assembly operations in the Electrical Assembly area to include assembly of a variety of electro/mechanical systems involving electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic circuitry, precision controls, electro/mechanical components and units having precise and critical operation specifications. Specific work activities will include the making of wiring harnesses, board soldering, component installation, building and assembly of electrical panels, building controllers and installation of software, testing, tuning and troubleshooting, and assembly of cabinets.
Skills:

• Must be able to read and understand technical documentation, schematics / prints, specifications and use sophisticated measuring instruments and gauges.
• Experienced in operating various electrical diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, multi-meters and analyzers.
• Ability to operate various hand tools including: soldering and wire crimping tools, micrometers.
• Ability to work independently and meet production schedules.
• Must have the ability to work collaboratively with Engineering and Applications on standard and special electrical systems builds.

Mechanical Design Engineer

The Mechanical Design Engineer will significantly manage and direct the design, detail and specification of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components for use in ultra precision, computer numerically controlled, machine tools. Create system design specifications utilizing 3-D modeling software, such as Solid Works, working with and managing a product design team to ensure a timely design-to-production process that meets budgetary and project specifications. Solve complex design or custom requirements via analysis of data and research of technical solutions appropriate to established requirements. Work with Manufacturing Engineering and Production personnel to transition designs into production, and serve to resolve necessary design changes and documentation as needed to ensure shipping a completed product in a timely fashion.

Shipping Logistics Coordinator

Position Nature: Track and coordinate all out going Precitech shipments to include proper documentation for domestic and international shipments, wrapping and packaging smaller shipments and contacting Freight Carriers and Forwarders for timely shipments.Receive incoming shipments and process to proper locations. Assist with inventory when needed. Perform cycle counts and work closely with Accounting on any discrepancies.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate out going shipments with all departments as required
Responsible for all documentation for shipments
Package all items for shipping not requiring shipping crates

In this position you get to learn about incredibly precise and complex spindle assemblies. These spindles are the heart of the Precitech machines and are what set us apart from our competition. You will learn to assemble, grind, balance, test and troubleshoot these assemblies through multiple levels of quality inspections.Learn:To read and understand engineering drawings, models, work instructions and specificationsAbout working with tight tolerances Can verify component conformance using precision gauges, micrometers and other measuring instrumentsTo align components for assembly, manually or with hoist, and bolts, screws, dowels and hand tools

Job Description Summary:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Stockroom Materials Coordinator

Position Description:

The Stockroom Materials Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the inventory and accuracy of inventory in the Stockroom area. This includes working and assisting Stockroom associates with the receiving of materials into stock and issuance of materials to the production floor following a pick, dispatch, or shortage list, and includes updating of inventory database in support of product flow.
Position Duties:

Picking of work orders according to daily dispatch lists.
Ensure all parts are received and shortages issued daily.
Generate pick lists and shortage lists.
Assist in packaging of components for storage and shipping.
Perform cycle counts and reconcile differences.
Maintain a neat and organized Stockroom with the goal of inventory accuracy.
Assist production with planning issues concerning inventory.
Participate in planning and scheduling meetings.

Essential Skills and Experience:

A familiarity with standard mechanical and electrical common components.
Background in Purchasing and Planning.
Knowledge of ERP systems or Visual System, Microsoft applications.
The ability to quickly grasp new processes is a must.
Perform work with an eye for process improvement and efficiency.
Operate with a sense of urgency.
Cooperative team player with an affinity for providing service to other departments.
Problem solving skills.
