Operations Manager

AMETEK Precitech is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and career minded individual to serve as our Operations Manager at our Keene, New Hampshire location. This position will provide leadership, coaching and direction to the Operations team to include the Machining and Assembly Operations, as well as Facilities. The Operations Manager develops and implements strategies and tactics for both long and short-term goals to achieve the highest standards for safety, quality, order fulfillment and financial metrics. Responsibilities include all aspects of manufacturing at this facility as well as leading safety, environmental compliance, productivity improvements, capital investment decisions and cost improvement initiatives. As a member of the Precitech senior staff, the successful candidate will help develop and drive the strategic plan for the business.

Mechanical Assembler

We have an opening for a Mechanical Assembler who will perform assembly operations in both the Mechanical and Sub-Assembly areas to include assembly of a variety of machine systems involving electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic circuitry, precision controls, electro/mechanical components and units having precise and critical operation specifications. Specific work activities will include component installation, building and assembly of sub-components, installation of software, testing, tuning and troubleshooting, installation of slides, spindles, alignment of slides, tracing and measuring of mechanical components.

Field Service Engineer

In this highly visible role, the Field Service Engineer will serve as a liaison between the customer and the company on technical service issues with responsibilities to include: machine buy-off, installation and training, troubleshooting of mechanical and electronic equipment both on-site and remotely, and associated telephone support. Many of these duties will be conducted in the field at the customer’s location. This position will also work with Engineering to design, document, and implement aftermarket machine retrofits in the field.

Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant opening is an entry level position for an individual who has completed their studies in Accounting and or Finance. This is a growth opportunity, where it is anticipated that the successful candidate will grow into a leadership or managerial position within a few years. Candidate should possess training or experience within a broad range of technical, day-to-day finance/accounting, and cost accounting responsibilities. CNC Machinist

Experienced CNC Machinist with the ability to set-up and operate a CNC vertical machining center, or surface grinding machine working to extremely close tolerances.
Responsibilities Include:
* Set-up and Operate a Haas or Hurco vertical milling machine, or surface grinder.
* Machine a variety of metal components to print following instructions and daily dispatch lists.
* Process paperwork to record time and materials.
* Assist or instruct others in the use of machinery.

Electrical Technician/ Assembler

The position of Electrical Technician / Assembler will perform assembly operations in the Electrical Assembly area to include building of a variety of electro/mechanical systems involving electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic circuitry, precision controls, electro/mechanical components and units having precise and critical operation specifications. Specific work activities will include the making of wiring harnesses, board soldering, component installation, building and assembly of electrical panels, building controllers and installation of software, testing, tuning and troubleshooting, and assembly of cabinets.

Machine Control Software Engineer

We are currently seeking a Machine Control Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will apply a diverse set of interests and skills to help shape the future of our industry. You will play a critical role in the design, coding, test development, deployment and troubleshooting of our current state-of-the-art machines, as well as engage in the development of next generation products. The ability to create and debug machine control software, as well as integrate third-party automation platforms, is of particular importance. This talented individual will be a key part of a small and passionate Engineering unit comprised of likeminded individuals. Specific knowledge of the ultra-precision market is not essential, but relevant experience and pride in one’s accomplishments are.

Core Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain features for motion control and machine automation systems, Delta Tau experience preferred
• Write code to control and communicate with automation platforms
• Tune PID controls and apply digital filtering for various motion control applications
• Understand electrical schematics and be comfortable using test equipment such as volt meters and oscilloscopes
• Proficiency in documentation is desired, and the ability to describe software designs using UML and similar tools when needed
• Develop technical expertise in company’s unique hardware and software systems and provide guidance and support to company staff and customers
• Excel within a small, high-performing Agile development team that hits delivery targets

Material Coordinator, Lead

The Materials Coordinator Lead Person is responsible for maintaining the inventory and accuracy of inventory in the Stockroom area. This includes overseeing and assisting the Stockroom staff with the receiving of materials into stock and issuance of materials to the production floor following a pick, dispatch, or shortage list, and includes updating of inventory database in support of product flow.

Position Requirements:
• Serve as the point person for activities in the Stockroom.
• Picking of work orders according to daily dispatch lists.
• Ensure all parts are received and shortages issued daily.
• Generate pick lists and shortage lists.
• Assist in packaging of components for storage and shipping.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile differences.
• Maintain a neat and organized Stockroom with the goal of inventory accuracy.
• Assist production with planning issues concerning inventory.
• Participate in planning and scheduling meetings.

Director of Applications Development

The Applications Engineer serves in a strategic technical role responsible for providing on-site applications support and problem solving for unique customer requirements. This position works closely with Field Sales and Engineering to collaborate in the design and development of engineered solutions, often pushing technical limitations resulting in the most critical and cutting-edge solutions advancing the customer’s ability to enhance their product offerings. This position will involve a hands-on approach in the design and making of sample components to prove system capabilities. A high level of engineer-to-engineer synergy with customers often results in unique and custom applications. Additional opportunities exist in providing technical training to both employees and customers, including system prove-out, and occasional travel to shows and customer locations to collaborate and provide technical assistance and support.
